Prep for "Armistice"

Countess of Blessington stated, “Prejudices are the chains forged by ignorance to keep men apart.”
In a well-written blog, discuss what you believe is the meaning of quotation? If you don't know what words mean, look them up so you can figure out what the Countess is talking about.  Then, in your blog, discuss how her quotation fits in with historical events before and during our lifetimes.  Make sure you are responding with how those events fit... avoid listing.
